REPRESENTATIVE CRICKET

BDC is responsible for running the Bromley Area representative teams at U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U17 and U12 Girls level. Area Representation leads to County, Regional & Country. Bromley has had representation at all levels right up to England.

Squads are chosen by independent coaches based on performance at the Area Trials. Squad coaching takes place prior to the Area matches.

As from August 2013, players can be nominated by Parents as well as Clubs, Coaches and Schools.

Feedback indicates that an assessment over a longer period is preferred. We do offer “one off” trials at U10 - U14 age groups.

Players for the U10 age group will be offered a whole Autumn term of trials. Players for the U11 – 14 age groups will be offered trials from September – October Half Term after which the most talented players will be selected to train with the previous year’s Area Squad. Players not selected will be offered the option of booking an alternative training session for the remainder of the term. Players for the U17 Area squad will be selected from those that attend the Senior Academy.

U12 Girls will be selected from those attending our Girls coaching sessions.

Should parents wish to provide play-cricket / school statistics to support their child’s trial, please email any documentation to admin@bromleydistrictcricket.com

From 2016 the Bromley Representative Teams will be called

Area Teams and known as the

Bromley Bulldogs

Trials for the 2018 U10 - U14, U17s and U12 Girls squads will commence in

September 2017. Information will be notified to club / coaches / players and placed on this website at the end of July 2017.
