KENT CRICKET, BECKENHAM

Kent Cricket, Beckenham was opened in 2002 to provide a venue for cricket in West Kent. An excellent standard of cricket has been played at Beckenham including First Class Kent 1st XI, Kent 2nd X1 and Kent Ladies, as well as club cricket.

Due to ongoing development plans within Kent Cricket, there was no cricket played at the ground during 2013 or 2014, but cricket came back to Beckenham in 2015 with a number of 1st XI and 2nd XI Kent games and Kent Women's fixtures. In August 2015 the Australian Women visited Beckenham for 4 days as part of their warm up for the 2015 Ashes.

Kent Men and Women XIs will be playing a number of competitive matches at the ground during the 2016 season. Details may be found on the main Kent website: http://www.kentcricket.co.uk/fixtures-results/fixtures

Facilities re-opened in Spring 2015:

The newly redeveloped Beckenham Ground includes:

A 2,000-seater stand, an indoor school with five cricket lanes which can also be used for netball, football, badminton etc.

Three astroturf football pitches, Two tennis courts, a basketball court, a gym.
